Summer Adventures Indoor Waterpark Lodging Packages
WinterIn the winter, break out the coats, hats, goggles and gloves and get ready to experience some of the best skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing in the West. After you have explored our 73 trails and extensive glades, you’re welcome to enjoy endless fresh tracks on nearby terrain accessible only by snow cat. If your legs can hold up, don’t forget about night skiing. We are also surrounded by hundreds of miles of trails throughout thousands of acres of public land, making this area one of the best in the country for snow machines. Or, visit our natural areas by your own power and enjoy Nordic trails for snowshoeing, classic and skate skiing.
SummerIn the summer, choices are limited only by the daylight hours, which are incredibly long in north Idaho.
We are home to some of the best bicycling (road, x-country and downhill) the country has to offer. The Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes – passing right by our Gondola Village – spans 73 miles of Idaho pan handle and runs along rivers, lakes and the historic Silver Valley. Just a few miles east is the Route of the Hiawatha, a 15 mile route that winds through 10 tunnels and 7 trestles across the scenic Bitterroot Mountains. The nearby lakes, rivers and forests provide adventure seekers plenty of boating, tubing, rafting, fishing and hiking opportunities.
How about a scenic gondola ride to the mountain top where you can enjoy a nature hike or disc golf and a delicious meal in the Mountain Haus? Four outdoor tennis courts, a large practice field and outdoor track are available for a wide variety of court and field sports. Horseshoe pits and basketball courts are nearby. We are also surrounded by hundreds of miles of trails throughout thousands of acres of public land, making this area one of the best in the country for snow machines. Or, visit our natural areas by your own power and enjoy Nordic trails for snowshoeing, classic and skate skiing. What is the quintessential mountain golf experience? It’s hundreds of feet in elevation change, fairways tucked into quiet, wooded draws and sweeping valley views. Galena Ridge, our championship golf course is currently under construction and will delight golfers with a 6,900 yard, 18-hole, par-71 layout. It is designed to offer the kind of game you can only find in the unique conditions of the Northern Rockies. In the meantime (while we anxiously await the turf to mature on Galena Ridge), there are two fantastic golf courses nearby that provide plenty of enjoyment for golfers of all abilities.
Beyond our resort, the Silver Valley and surrounding area invites you to enjoy a wide variety of activities such as river tubing and rafting, mine tours, shopping, dining, museums, theaters, bowling, and exploring Mother Nature’s wonders via an ATV adventure.
Silver Rapids, our ginormous indoor waterpark, is open year-round. Forecast calls for 84 degrees and 100% fun everyday. |
