A stunning opening hole with a beautiful backdrop of aspens and evergreens. A fescue lined canyon and fairway sand trap on the right compels players to hit an accurate shot across a large expanse of native area. The approach shot leaves little to the imagination requiring players to navigate a left side sand trap in conjunction with a bottomless bunker just short of the green. Any shot hit long and right will face peril due to the wetland located a couple yards from the green.
A daunting par 3 playing from an elevated tee area offering magnificent views of the course. Club selection is critical as the elevation change dramatically affects the way shots drop onto the green. The green is guarded by two strategically placed sand traps on the left and fescue lining the right and back. Once on the green, players face a two-tiered putting surface.
A remarkable par 5 with spectacular views. The tee area provides some of the most breath-taking views on the course. The tee shot requires golfers to get the ball in the air quickly. A split fairway marked by a lone sand trap challenges players to decide whether to go for the green or lay-up. Finesse is the name of the game for this small green.
This hole plays along the upper most ridgeline of the course. The tee shot requires a long and straight drive. Players can shorten the distance by aiming toward a lone bunker on the right and avoiding the steep slope that falls into Magnet Creek. The green is guarded by two sand traps short and a native area that wraps around the right and behind the green. Once on the sizeable green, players will be faced with undulation and perhaps distance in pursuit of a birdie.
An exciting par 3 playing off the backside of a ridge line. From this hole players get a glimpse of the holes to come as they look down on the course and across the Silver Valley. The green is guarded by three bunkers, two immense ones on the left and right sides and one in the rear. Accuracy is the name of the game for those who desire a decent score.
A drive hit in the air will a provide sensation of grandeur as the ball will hang in flight for what seems like an eternity. Danger looms on the left side with two fescue-lined canyons and a steep slope leading to Government Creek. The green is guarded by a lone sand trap front left and a slope that falls off quickly into danger.
A remarkable hole that allows strategic players to score well. From the tee there is a sizable sand brunker right and a tall fescue-lined ridge separating the hole from #8. The approach shot can provide headache as the green is heavily guarded by four sand bunkers. The ample sized green will yield to birdies if players can avoid the hazards on this hole.
Hole 8 is a medium length par four that plays significantly longer than the listed yardage due to its uphill orientation into a prevailing headwind. Finding the narrow fairway off the tee is a must if you hope to hit this green in regulation. Sand bunkers left and right pinch the landing area and mounds of native fescue await wayward drives beyond that. Once you reach the green, the fun really begins...a rollicking two-tiered surface protected by sand bunkers left and right will challenge each player to leave their approach shot on the proper level and side of the green for even a remotely make-able putt. Par is a very good score here!

A well positioned shot just left of the fairway bunker rewards the player with a manageable second shot. The approach requires golfers to avoid a deep and punishing bunker just left of the green. The small putting surface rewards accuracy.
